The Cycling Friendly Development Grant Fund, financed by Transport Scotland, is open to organisations across all sectors. Funding of up to £25,000 is available for capital projects that encourage staff and visitors to travel by bike, and help achieve and maintain the Cycling Friendly Employer Award.
We make it simple for you to access the people with the funding, knowledge and experience to make places better for everyone. We can provide support for local authorities, community groups and other organisations to rebalance our streets for everyone.
We can help fund activities that encourage your workplace to commute more sustainably. From information packs, to travel planning, to business cases, it can fund the activities most suited to your needs. Funds are available for third and public sector organisations. Private sector organisations can work with an eligible body to attract support.
Free short-term ebikes trials available from between 3 days to 3 weeks from Home Energy Scotland.
Grant funding of up to £200,000 available to Scottish public sector and local authorities towards a pool of ebikes for within the workplace and/or setting up an ebike hire/loan scheme.
Interest-free loan of up to £6,000 over 4 years for Scottish householders towards the purchase of an ebike (maximum of 2 per household), ecargo bike or adapted ebike.
Interest-free loan of up to £30,000 over 4 years for Scottish businesses towards the purchase of ebikes, ecargo bikes or adapted ebikes.
Interest-free loan of up to £35,000 over 6 years for Scottish householders towards the purchase of a ULEV.
Interest-free loan of up to £120,000 over 6 years for Scottish businesses towards the purchase of ultra-low emission vehicles (ULEVs), teleconference facilities or telematics.
Grant funding of up to £300 for a home charge point available to Scottish households with an electric vehicle.
Up to 50% grant funding available to Scottish businesses for workplace electric vehicle charge points.
